Generative dice recipe: 24 part circle

Not so much a generative dice recipe as a preparatory construction that gives us an interesting starting point for countless experiments.

1. Draw a circle. Important: keep the opening of the compasses fixed for the entire recipe.
2. Draw a horizontal and vertical axis through the center of the circle.

3. Draw a new circle in each of the 4 (cardinal) intersections.
4. Draw the diagonal axes by connecting the intersection of the 4 new circles.

5. Draw a new circle in each of the 4 diagonal intersections.

6. The 4 axes and 8 circles divide the original circle in 24 equal parts.
